Will of Robert RYMELLE, Yeoman of Chapmanslade, Wilts
Proved at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, London
In the name of god Amen the 12th of March anno one thousand fyve hundred ninety eight I although sick and weak of body but of good and perfect memory laud be to god do ordain my last will and testament in manner and format as followeth
firstly I bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to be buried within the churchyard at Corsley
item I give and bequeath unto the poor inhabitants on both sides of the street at Chapmanslade and Huntley Lane five pounds
item I give and bequeath unto my servant Elizabeth PEARCE with the twenty eight shillings due to her four pounds
item I give and bequeath unto my daughter's children being nine in number nine pounds
item I and bequeath unto Aline HOLLO WAY my daughter two fines I have in deferment within one month after my death to be delivered
item I give and bequeath unto MARY my wife and ROBERT my son all my goods moveable and unmoveable within doors and without not before given and bequeathed and making them my whole executors
with this condition that Robert my son doth impart his and goods and chattels with his mother item I do constitute and ordain my beloved in Christ George MORGAN William FISHER William TURNER William HOLLO WAY to be my overseers of this my last will and testament and allowing unto each of them for their payment three shillings and fourpence
